Celebrating more Metal Gear Solid 2 for it’s 20th anniversary. Metal Gear Solid 2 was released in 2001 and was praised by many as one of the best PS2 games as well as one of the greatest PS2 games. Hideo Kojima started working on this game soon after Metal Gear Solid released and many fans were waiting for any information that they could get. But in 2000 we finally got our first look at MGS 2 in gaming magazines from E3 that year. Everyone was blown away by how realistic the game looked and just wanted to see more gameplay which we didn’t get to see until the TGS and the following E3. I remember most of the trailers being in Japanese with subtitles but i couldn’t get enough and i would watch the trailers over and over. Unfortunately the trailers were a huge troll moment to hide that fact that we were in fact not playing as solid snake for the entire game but a new character called Raiden. A lot of fans have come to like the character but some are still not Raiden fans even after metal gear rising was released. But with that said let’s sit back, relax, and enjoy the stream.
